Is there such a thing as a Computer Music course at IME/USP?

Yes! At undergraduate level we have MAC0337 - Computer Music and MAC0317 - Algorithms for Audio, Image and Video Processing, and at graduate level we have MAC5900 - Computer Music and MAC5920 - Algorithms for Audio, Image and Video Processing (summaries available in Portuguese only). Please consider that courses are only given in Portuguese at the moment.

Are Computer Music courses occurring right now?

Computer Music courses are not mandatory but optional courses, and their occurrence is not entirely predictable. Check out at the undergrad system Jupiter or the graduate system Janus whether these courses are open for enrollment: MAC0337 - Computer Music, MAC0317 - Algorithms for Audio, Image and Video Processing, MAC5900 - Computer Music and MAC5920 - Algorithms for Audio, Image and Video Processing. Enrollment period is different at graduate and undergrad levels, so you might want to check both systems to make sure. Please consider that courses are only given in Portuguese at the moment.
