Abstract:

In this paper it is described the implementation of an interactive software for musical composition grounded upon concepts coming from Artificial life (mainly from cumulative selection). This one was conceived in two ways: like an environment where a specimen evolve by mean of mutation in different levels of the sound and time, and an user's interface to manage transformations in the conditions of the environment with the purpose to provoke certain trends in the specimen's behavior.
